Mrirt is a Moroccan town located in the Khenifra Province, nestled in the heart of the Middle Atlas Mountains. As a central hub for the Amazigh Ait Sgougou tribes, it sits near the stunning Oum Er-Rbia river springs. The town is highly renowned for its vibrant weekly Thursday market, which showcases livestock and local craftsmanship, particularly its exquisite, locally hand-woven Amazigh carpets (Zarbiya).
